Spellbound by your smile, seduced by charm

how those perfect green eyes danced when you laughed,

serenity found embraced in your arms

somehow you saw me for more than my past.

Because of you, I found faith in myself-

a breathtaking bond like never before,

the passion we found had no parallel

fervently I fell for the man you were.

Toxic tendencies tantalized my being,

destructive decisions depleted you.

The mindless mistakes I keep repeating-

you say leaving me is all you can do,

but I’m not willing to give up on us

forever I’ll fight for your flawless love.
