A Word To The Wise

I propose you proceed prudently-

do not woo me without intent,

do not kiss me out of kindness,

do not look at me with only lustful eyes.

Persuade my passion purposefully-

for my feelings are fragile,

my soft soul easily shattered,

and I will hand you my whole heart.

Many have found my devotion difficult-

forging feelings only for a pretty face,

but I am so much more than the skin I wear,

so please proceed prudently, and love me only for the woman within.
